AOT delivers paid technology apprenticeships and internships for underrepresented high-school and college students. Participants engage in hands-on software development projects, receive career coaching, and attend professional skills workshops to prepare for technology roles.

Boost Strategy Group helps cities and organizations build inclusive tech talent pipelines by aligning training with employer demand in fields like software development, cybersecurity, and data analytics. We specialize in workforce strategy, employer engagement, and creating equitable pathways that connect underserved communities to high-growth digital careers.

Carolinas AGC’s Construction Apprenticeship combines paid field training with related classroom instruction in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. Employers benefit from workforce development support, credential tracking, and grant coordination.

The City of Charlotte’s Apprenticeship Charlotte initiative partners with local agencies and employers to offer earn-and-learn pathways in trades, engineering, and IT. Participants earn wages while completing structured instruction and advancing through wage tiers.

Code the Dream Tandem Apprenticeship
A 6–12 month, Department of Labor–registered tandem apprenticeship that connects vetted junior developers—graduated from CTD’s free Code School—with partner companies (like Cisco and SAS). Apprentices remain CTD employees while working full-time on real-world projects under joint mentorship from CTD senior devs and host-company teams. This plug-and-play model builds diverse tech pipelines and delivers immediate, production-ready results, with many apprentices hired full-time upon completion.

Correlation One’s digital apprenticeship programs train employees in data analytics, AI, and cybersecurity through grant‑backed curricula and related instruction. The programs help employers close skill gaps and increase retention.

The Center for Cybersecurity at County College of Morris (CCM) has been a local and national leader in Information Security education for over two decades. Designated as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Two-Year Education (CAE2Y), with faculty recognized nationally as expert educators, and has been leaders in setting the direction of our nation’s information security curriculum. The CCM Department of Information Technologies established the CCM Center for Cyber Security to further the mission of educating our future cyber security professionals, increasing awareness for students in other disciplines, and in preparing our greater community to be better cyber citizens. The CCM Center for Cybersecurity is currently developing a cybersecurity apprenticeship program.

CyberUp’s 12-month, paid apprenticeship program connects Security+-certified talent with employers for hands-on cybersecurity experience. Apprentices receive mentorship, ongoing training, and career coaching—building a direct pathway into full-time cybersecurity roles with high retention and success rates.

My IT University delivers a CompTIA-approved apprenticeship for university students. Participants earn wages while pursuing Cyber Security Support Technician or Data Analyst tracks through instructor-led courses, one-on-one mentorship, and financial support.

NC TECH is a not-for-profit, membership-driven trade association and the primary voice of the technology industry in North Carolina. NC TECH’s mission is to foster growth and champion innovation in North Carolina’s tech sector, while providing a voice for the tech community. NC TECH’s membership includes 700 member companies, organizations and institutions employing more than 250,000 workers in North Carolina.

Per Scholas offers Department of Labor–registered, earn-and-learn apprenticeship programs in cybersecurity and IT support, designed to bridge the tech skills gap and promote economic mobility. Apprentices receive hands-on training, industry-recognized certifications, and mentorship, preparing them for full-time roles with leading employers. With a proven track record of success, Per Scholas has partnered with over 850 employers nationwide to place graduates in high-demand tech positions. Their commitment to diversity and inclusion ensures that underrepresented communities have access to quality tech careers.

Queensborough Community College participates in the CUNY Apprenticeship initiative by enabling associate-degree students to integrate paid, part- or full-time roles in tech and business with their studies. Apprentices graduate with national credentials and strong employment outcomes.

RTriad Enterprises operates a Registered Apprenticeship program for Information Security Analysts and Software Developers. The program offers free pre-training, certification vouchers, paid work, and one-year access to a career community for mentorship and networking.

The Data School operates New York City’s first registered Data Analyst apprenticeship approved by the New York State Department of Labor. Apprentices complete intensive technical training in tools such as Tableau and Alteryx alongside paid on-the-job client projects under dedicated mentorship.
