AOT delivers paid technology apprenticeships and internships for underrepresented high-school and college students. Participants engage in hands-on software development projects, receive career coaching, and attend professional skills workshops to prepare for technology roles.

American Apprenticeships Work (AAW) is a national organization advancing careers through innovative apprenticeship programs in fields like project management and digital media. These programs combine on-the-job training, technical and business skill development, project work, and mentorship to equip participants with industry-recognized credentials.

AAW also prioritizes pre-apprenticeship programs—short-term training (1–3 months) that build job readiness, workplace safety, basic technical skills, and awareness of employee rights. These foundational programs help individuals, especially from underserved communities, prepare for registered apprenticeships and achieve long-term career and economic success.

Building Blocks Mentoring Program offers six-month, no-cost technical and workplace skills courses delivered in person or online. The program pairs participants with experienced mentors and career resources through a partnership with Grow With Google.

GoSprout is a cloud-based platform that streamlines the management of Registered Apprenticeship Programs by helping employers and educators track progress, ensure compliance, and communicate effectively. Founded by Carlos Vazquez—the same founder of Miami EdTech—GoSprout powers Miami EdTech’s apprenticeship initiatives, enabling scalable, efficient STEM apprenticeships that connect learners to career pathways.

The Chamber’s Talent, Workforce & Education initiative, including Talent Pipeline Management and ASPIRE Capital Region, equips municipalities and employers to implement registered apprenticeship pathways. It provides tools, templates, and community collaboratives to streamline program development and employer engagement.

Independent Electrical Contractors Florida East Coast (IEC-FECC) is a regional chapter of the national Independent Electrical Contractors (IEC) association. Located in Florida, IEC-FECC represents merit shop electrical and systems contractors and promotes professional growth through apprenticeship training, continuing education, and workforce development programs. The chapter works closely with local contractors, educators, and industry leaders to support high standards in electrical work, advocate for the industry, and address workforce needs across the Florida East Coast region. Their apprenticeship program is registered and provides hands-on and classroom instruction that aligns with national electrical codes and safety standards.

Learning Alliance Corporation (LAC) in Tampa, Florida sponsors Registered Apprenticeship Programs in IT, Telecommunications, and Renewable Energy. LAC provides employers turnkey, grant-funded solutions that blend hands-on training and classroom instruction. Programs are nationally registered, promoting diversity and helping apprentices gain high-wage, high-skill jobs while improving workforce retention and pipeline for employers.

Miami EdTech, founded by Carlos Vazquez, offers a registered 12-month apprenticeship program specializing in AI and UX/UI design. Apprentices gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and industry-recognized credentials, preparing them for full-time roles in the tech industry. The program is powered by GoSprout, a platform co-founded by Vazquez, which streamlines apprenticeship management and connects employers with skilled talent. This collaboration ensures a seamless and effective apprenticeship experience

Miller Electric Company, headquartered in Jacksonville, FL, is a long-standing leader in electrical contracting and systems integration. They offer a comprehensive apprenticeship program through the Electrical Training Alliance of Jacksonville, providing hands-on training and classroom instruction to aspiring electricians. Additionally, Miller Electric is a proud partner of American Apprenticeship Works, contributing to innovative apprenticeship models that bridge the skills gap in various industries.

On the Right Track Systems develops patented hookless cubicle curtain track systems designed to reduce labor costs, minimize infection risks, and improve patient safety in healthcare settings.

Per Scholas offers Department of Labor–registered, earn-and-learn apprenticeship programs in cybersecurity and IT support, designed to bridge the tech skills gap and promote economic mobility. Apprentices receive hands-on training, industry-recognized certifications, and mentorship, preparing them for full-time roles with leading employers. With a proven track record of success, Per Scholas has partnered with over 850 employers nationwide to place graduates in high-demand tech positions. Their commitment to diversity and inclusion ensures that underrepresented communities have access to quality tech careers.

PCG’s Apprenticeship Management Solutions team helps organizations design, register, and manage USDOL-approved apprenticeship programs by providing curriculum development, apprentice monitoring, compliance assistance, and related technical instruction support.

Apprentices work full-time under experienced mentors while attending structured classroom instruction.
