The Shoshone-Bannock Tribes’ Tribal Employment Rights Office (TERO) offers a comprehensive and culturally grounded Registered Apprenticeship Program based in Fort Hall, Idaho. Established in 1994, this program provides tribal members with hands-on training, education, and career pathways in high-demand trades.

The City of Frederick is exploring apprenticeship after participating in the Good Jobs, Great Cities Academy with the National League of Cities and the U.S. Department of Labor. Frederick seeks to improve job opportunities for residents, focusing on high-quality jobs and sustainable employment. Career Connected Learning and Apprenticeship was one of four key areas Frederick identified as an area of focus and created the Office of Opportunity and Transformation to lead these efforts.

The Treasure Valley Carpenters Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (JATC) offers a state-approved apprenticeship program in Idaho designed to train individuals for a successful career in carpentry. The program is tuition free. This program is affiliated with the United Brotherhood of Carpenters & Joiners of America.

Umos manages registered apprenticeships in healthcare support and community services by combining paid practical rotations with related technical instruction and mentorship. The organization works with regional employers to upskill diverse cohorts for local workforce needs.

UYOA is a nonprofit that serves underprivileged youth. Youth have access to supportive services and training in various occupations. Apprenticeships are currently registered in Oklahoma, Illinois, California and Georgia but they are working on a national program.
