The Boulder Chamber of Commerce partners with employers and colleges to deliver Registered Adult Apprenticeships that blend paid work, structured instruction, and mentor support. Each program addresses regional workforce needs and culminates in an industry‑recognized credential.

City Lab Professional's program is for youth apprentices however they can also serve adults.

Code the Dream Tandem Apprenticeship
A 6–12 month, Department of Labor–registered tandem apprenticeship that connects vetted junior developers—graduated from CTD’s free Code School—with partner companies (like Cisco and SAS). Apprentices remain CTD employees while working full-time on real-world projects under joint mentorship from CTD senior devs and host-company teams. This plug-and-play model builds diverse tech pipelines and delivers immediate, production-ready results, with many apprentices hired full-time upon completion.

DeVry University offers undergraduate and graduate programs onsite and online. DeVry is developing a registered apprenticeship in at least five states with plans to go national in the next two years.

Fullstack Academy offers immersive software engineering apprenticeships through its Skills Guild. Participants engage in project-based learning, receive mentor coaching, and collaborate with employers to secure paid roles as junior developers.

The Idaho Health Care Association (IHCA) offers a Registered Apprenticeship Program designed to help long-term care facilities train and retain skilled workers while providing employees with a pathway to nationally recognized credentials. Occupations include CNA, dietary manager, activity director, resident services director, assisted living administrator, and paid feeding assistant.

IPCA sponsors healthcare apprenticeships in Community Health Worker, Dental Assistant, and Medical Assistant tracks. Programs combine paid workplace training with Core CHW and Advanced CHW coursework to ensure competency and USDOL credentialing.

Idaho State University (ISU) offers a range of Registered Apprenticeship Programs through its Continuing Education and Workforce Training (CEWT) division and the College of Technology. These programs combine on-the-job training (OJT) with classroom instruction, preparing students for careers in skilled trades and technical fields.

IHS delivers customized healthcare apprenticeship solutions by pairing paid clinical rotations with structured classroom instruction, mentorship, and compliance guidance to build pipelines of skilled allied-health professionals.

McAlester Regional Health Center’s Healthcare Apprenticeship Program offers paid rotations in nursing support and allied health departments alongside classroom modules. Apprentices earn state-recognized certifications and receive mentorship from clinical educators.

MUHSD’s Career Technical Education department collaborates with local employers to embed work-based learning into high-school pathways. Students participate in paid internships, industry-aligned coursework, and support services to prepare for in-demand careers.
