Umos manages registered apprenticeships in healthcare support and community services by combining paid practical rotations with related technical instruction and mentorship. The organization works with regional employers to upskill diverse cohorts for local workforce needs.

UYOA is a nonprofit that serves underprivileged youth. Youth have access to supportive services and training in various occupations. Apprenticeships are currently registered in Oklahoma, Illinois, California and Georgia but they are working on a national program.

The NICE Program Office at NIST leads the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education by providing the Cybersecurity Workforce Framework and a public Apprenticeship Finder tool. NICE offers technical assistance, one-pagers, and community coordinating councils to align training with defined work roles and industry competencies.
