The Strada Education Foundation (formerly Strada Education Group), headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, is a national nonprofit focused on strengthening the connection between education and employment. While Strada does not directly operate apprenticeship programs, it plays a strategic role in expanding access to work-based learning, including apprenticeships, through funding, research, and partnerships.

Strategic Information Resources sponsors a registered apprenticeship for Computer User Support Specialists in Canoga Park. Apprentices earn wages while they receive employer-based training and related technical instruction in IT support under industry-experienced mentors.

The City of Frederick is exploring apprenticeship after participating in the Good Jobs, Great Cities Academy with the National League of Cities and the U.S. Department of Labor. Frederick seeks to improve job opportunities for residents, focusing on high-quality jobs and sustainable employment. YUPRO’s Skills-to-Staff™ Professional Apprenticeship provides a USDOL-registered pathway with 1,000 work hours and 144 hours of structured learning over 52 weeks. Employers may also choose 13- to 39-week informal tracks, all blending paid on-the-job learning with customizable upskilling curricula and professional development.
