Arapahoe/Douglas Works! serves as Colorado’s Apprenticeship Hub by offering no-cost guidance on program development, USDOL registration, and employer recruitment for registered apprenticeships. The workforce center provides post-registration support, including apprentice enrollment, retention strategies, and grant coordination.

The Boulder Chamber of Commerce partners with employers and colleges to deliver Registered Adult Apprenticeships that blend paid work, structured instruction, and mentor support. Each program addresses regional workforce needs and culminates in an industry‑recognized credential.

Building Blocks Mentoring Program offers six-month, no-cost technical and workplace skills courses delivered in person or online. The program pairs participants with experienced mentors and career resources through a partnership with Grow With Google.

Burns & McDonnell’s Registered Apprenticeship Program develops technical and craft talent through paid on-the-job training paired with accredited classroom instruction. Apprentices rotate through real project assignments under experienced mentors to build career-ready skills.

Capitol Impact is a social impact consulting firm that is dedicated to forging a better future for all Californians. To achieve this mission, we partner with visionary leaders across the social sector to advance practical solutions to our state’s most pressing challenges.

Career CNX is a Denver-based leadership consulting firm that offers a proprietary SaaS platform and coaching services to help professionals align personal and professional goals, enhancing performance and career advancement. While Career CNX does not currently offer a registered apprenticeship program, it provides resources to support career development and job placement.

CCS Technology Group’s IT Apprenticeship blends paid hands-on work in software support and networking with CompTIA-aligned technical instruction. Apprentices receive one-on-one mentorship and gain industry credentials over a 12- to 18-month cycle.

Apprenticeship programs at City Colleges of Chicago combine classroom and on-the-job learning to make up a typical 40-hours work week.

Code the Dream Tandem Apprenticeship
A 6–12 month, Department of Labor–registered tandem apprenticeship that connects vetted junior developers—graduated from CTD’s free Code School—with partner companies (like Cisco and SAS). Apprentices remain CTD employees while working full-time on real-world projects under joint mentorship from CTD senior devs and host-company teams. This plug-and-play model builds diverse tech pipelines and delivers immediate, production-ready results, with many apprentices hired full-time upon completion.

Project Hire‑Ed places apprentices with local employers and supports college coursework for stackable certificates. Participants earn a paycheck, graduate debt‑free, and obtain industry‑aligned credentials.

Through Apprenticeship Colorado, CWDC oversees statewide registered apprenticeships by offering technical assistance, tax credit guidance, and equity-focused best practices. The council connects employers, sponsors, and education providers to expand high-quality programs.
